Carácter

Yorkies are spirited dogs, true to their working-terrier roots. They do not seem to realize how small they are.
Without strong leadership, they have a tendency to become bossy, especially if their owners allow them to get away with naughty behaviors—like yapping and pulling—that would never be acceptable in a larger dog.

Ejercicio y vida en casa

It is imperative that the Yorkie owner gives the dog boundaries and solid training, and a moderate amount of exercise. They are great apartment dogs and a favorite among city dwellers because their size makes exercise a snap: a game of catch in the living room could easily tire a Yorkie out.
